Like many Latinos here in the United States, I grew up celebrating Día de la Madres twice. Many of my Latinx friends that I know also do the same. It’s a tradition that stems from our culture. There’s nothing more special than honoring our moms. How can we forget all the delicious food she would cook for us growing up? From huevos rancheros in the morning to pozole on a warm sunny day.
This Día de la Madres try cooking for your mom and family the following healthy plates.
- Sheet-Pan Chicken Fajitas (Fajitas de pollo en sartén)
- Chilaquiles Casserole
- Firehouse Enchiladas (Enchiladas De Bomberos)
